Tried and tested - Scunci French twist

Hello again,
So here's another hair one for you all, this is my tried and tested post about the Scunci French twist hair tool.
Ok so, lots of cabin crew wear the French twist hairstyle when working. It's simple yet elegant. I thought I'd give it ago and I had many I attempts with a "half moon slide" which my hair (has you know is very thick and just over should length) kept pulling the slide out as it was too heavy for it๐Ÿ˜”

Whilest shopping in Boots I came across the Scunci French twist tool and thought I'd give it ago.

Inside the box came:
"1 hair volume French twist tool"
"4 no damage hair pins"
(As the photo show)
I was very pleased with the tool and couldn't wait to give it a try.
My hair was "second day hair" and had dry shampoo in so it had texture but could be easily worked..

The instructions were shown on the back and seemed pretty simple...
I followed the instructions carefully but issues soon started..

When I tried to fasten the clip it seems as there was too much hair and the clip kept popping open..
My hair was in the highlighting yellow bit (in the photo) and the metal bit kept popping out the clip (highlighted red)... Even when i put half my hair in it kept popping open๐Ÿ˜”

After a few tweaks with some pliers I managed to get it to stay but as soon as I started to twist it round it all just came open and fall out...
After many attempts... I decided it wasn't going to work and gave up..๐Ÿ˜

I'm really gutted it didn't work on my hair, just thought I'd let you guys know Incase your thinking of buying one, bear this in mind if your got thick hair like me ๐Ÿ˜Š

Please let me know if you guys have had any luck or not with any other hair tools!

That's all for now, see you soon❤️

P.s, here's what the final style should of looked like!
This is French twist was done by a very close friend on here niece๐Ÿ˜Š
